My Declaration to the Lord

“Father in Heaven, I love you. I exist to serve you. My desire is to know You more and to do Your will on earth. Your will for me is like an awesome cloud, full of truth over me. I strive daily to live my life with purpose and excellence. I have made the choice to live under Your perfect will. Like Jesus my Lord, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me” (John 4:34). Your will for me can be summed up in these seven Biblical truths:”

I will live to praise the name of God

“I will praise the name of God with song, and shall magnify Him with thanksgiving. And it will please the LORD better than an ox or a young bull with horns and hoofs”

-Psalm 69:30-31

I will be sexually pure

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality…”

-1 Thessalonians 4:3

I will be joyful always

“…Rejoice always…”

-1 Thessalonians 5:16

I will pray continually

“…Pray without ceasing…”

-1 Thessalonians 5:17

I will give thanks in every circumstances

“…In everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus”

-1 Thessalonians 5:18

I will live by faith

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him”

-Hebrews 11:6

I will do good

“For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men”

-1 Peter 2:15
